Decodificador ARINC μDX219
ARINC Decoder μDX219
Description:
Equipment designed to receive ARINC-429 packets and detect several labels among all messages received. Once the expected labels are read these data packets are decoded to control up to 16 discrete outputs. A particular bit of alarm or indication, regarding some specific status in the aircraft, is detected and will activate or deactivate a particular discrete output. Examples of indication are valves open or close, system failures, alarms or relevant warnings.
The equipment comes with one ARINC-429 input and 16 outputs, all of them as a low impedance type GND/OPEN (signal goes to GND when active and remains open if inactive). Each output can sink up to 50mA for lamps, LEDs or connect to discrete inputs of other equipment like MFD or FTI. LEDs or lamps shall have the other end be connected to a 28VDC bus.
The selected labels and data packets, as well as which bit in those data packets shall control which discrete output, are configured at factory, during the production of the ARINC Decoder. Therefore, the customer shall define these selections upon ordering the ARINC Decoder.
Once the equipment is energized all outputs become inactive (open). After receiving the expected data packets the outputs will copy the state of the selected bits. If a packet is no longer received, for any reason, the output assigned to the bit in that packet will remain in the last received state until the equipment is no longer energized.
